July 6, 2009 - Forty Carrots Family Center thanks the readers of Famiy Living Magazine for naming The Parenting Center #1 for Parenting Education and The Preschool at Forty Carrots #2 in the annual Readers' Choice Awards.
February 17, 2009 - Forty Carrots Family Center was honored as "Caring Kids Organization of the Year" by First Step of Sarasota's Mothers & Infants program.
January 15, 2009 - Forty Carrots Family Center was recognized by West Central Florida's Community PBS Station, WEDU, at the Be More Awards recognizing non-profits in WEDU's viewing area. Forty Carrots was recognized as semi-finalist in the coveted Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award and a semi-finalist in the Be More Informed Marketing Award. Over 85 organizations were represented and Forty Carrots was very honored to be recognized as one of the top five nonprofits in West Central Florida.
January 2009 - Wine, Women & Shoes, a benefit for Forty Carrots Family Center, was recognized by The Observer Group as one of the Best of Black Tie social events of 2008.
June 30, 2008 - The Preschool at Forty Carrots Family Center was one of the first programs in the country to achieve accreditation under the newest, most stringent guidelines by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
May 5, 2008 - Forty Carrots Family Center and the Sarasota County Tax Collector's Office were honored at the recent Central West Coast Chapter's Florida Public Relations Association Annual Image Awards ceremony. The agencies partnered with 2007-2008 program funder The Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. to present Buckle Up Baby! - the area's only mobile infant and child seat safety inspection program. Buckle Up Baby! won an Image Award for its exceptional Public Relations Campaign.
2008 - The Preschool at Forty Carrots won FINALIST for Best Preschool in the Herald Tribune Reader's Choice Award (2007 Winner - Best Preschool in Sarasota)
2008 - Forty Carrots awarded Best of Sarasota Award - Preschool Category by the U.S. Business Association
2007 - The Preschool at Forty Carrots won Family Living Magazine's Reader's Choice Award
